Cristina Romeo   Owner/Creative Director
      Cristina Romeo, a maven of eyebrows and make-up for over 30 years, has educated dozens of artists nationwide. Her cosmetics career includes television, fashion shows and motion pictures spanning from New York City to San Francisco, from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. to Florence Italy. Cristina has applied make-up for congresswomen, senior VP of major networks, newscasters, celebrities, princesses, models and countless professional women and mothers. She has applied make-up for hundreds of brides and has probably done over 50 thousand eyebrows nationwide.
      Cristina created Polaris Cosmetics nearly 10 years ago, her loyal clientele adores the quality she provides in both her products and services. In 2002 Cristina decided it was time to provide a professional environment that was not only beautiful and soothing but was also entertaining and educational. A place where her clients could relax and be pampered.

Jessica Kohn-Erlandsen   Hair Stylist & Make-Up Artist
      Jessica Kohn-Erlandsen began her hair and make-up career over 5 years ago in the State of California, where she is a licensed cosmetologist. She started out in the entertainment industry creating beautiful work for music videos, commercials, motion pictures and television. Jessica has appeared as the featured make-up artists for reality television such as “Live Like A Star” on Fox and “How do I look” on E! Entertainment’s Style Network. Jessica has done freelance work for print, editorial and high fashion shoots. She most recently was asked to join the team of make-up artists for the Valentino’s Catwalk for Charity show held in Los Angeles. She has also worked on Missoni, Blumarine and Pucci fashion shows to name a few. Jessica has worked with fitness guru Kathy Smith and is the key hair and make-up artist to Daniel Cerny and many other directors.
      Jessica began working with Polaris Cosmetics in 2003 and offers our clients her high fashion advice and styling.

Meri Miller   Make-Up Artist
      Like most make-up artists, Meri adored make-up growing up as a little girl. Meri, however, was formally introduced to the magic of make-up from the other side of the camera as a budding model and actress. Meri was fascinated and transfixed by the make-up artists that worked on her for shoots. She would attempt to duplicate the work of the artists on herself, friends and family once she returned home. Sooner than later Meri realized she had true talent for the craft.
      Meri studied at MUDD, concentrating on glamour, special effects and character make-up. Knowing that glamour make-up was her calling she worked for MAC and Chanel, leading both counters in sales and client retention. Meri has also worked on countless music videos, some of which have aired on MTV. She has also been the key make-up artist for many feature and independent films, fashion shows and TV pilots such as “Your New Home” on CBS.
      Meri began her Polaris Cosmetics career in early 2007. Her adoring clients have followed her from her previous jobs and are happy to have “seen the Polaris light”. Meri is the main make-up artist for our Thousand Oaks location. She has extensive experience in prom and wedding make-up and has really taken Thousand Oaks/ Westlake Village area by storm.
